In Memory of Fred Pullinger

My dear father in law, Fred Pullinger, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2010. Fred is survived by his wife, Joanne, and his daughters Kathryn (my wife) and Debbie Sattler, and his three grandchildren, Tyler, Paige (Debbie's children) and Amanda (my daughter). Fred was an inspiration to us all, having survived a terminal illness that was supposed to have killed him before the age of 40. He was 77! He lived with a willingness to survive, to live happily, and that he did. He love the Phillies, he loved Eagles, he love his wife, children and grandchildren beyond words, and of course, his little dog Molly. And above all, he loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all of his heart! Fred was kind and gentle, and good to all. He was an example to me. Despite his debilitating illnesses (he suffered at least three chronic diseases), he had a zeal for life and an attitude of gratitude and joy. Dad, I'm gonna miss our cocktail hours and breakfasts at the Old Dixie. I'm going to miss you so much! Hope I see you in Heaven, with Adam, and we'll have the best ribs we've ever eaten! You are loved, you are missed! But enjoy your new healthy body...your journey here is over, and all any of us can say is, Well Done!

  2. Hey DG,

Cool website - checkin it out - 30,000 feet over Denver... parasailing Back East...

I remember a fine afternoon with my boys, Alex(10) & James(8) being taught by Amanda; I remember I,RAH and You Two,DG and KV having a charming afternoon with your in-laws - while the children played and studied - at her desk and in the garage...

I'm sure you both will miss Fred; but, then again, after all - he is only in the other room.

And, where you from, DG - I'm from Heaven - where Brother Fred is now...

All Best Wishes and See your Famn Damily soon.

    Robert
